Job summary

Premier Healthcare at Harrington House is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team. You will provide basic nursing care and assist residents with activities of daily living in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid CNA certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required upon start date.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs.
• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, oral care, and incontinence care.
• Assist with meals and feeding.
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises, transfers, and wheelchair mobility.
• Turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Assist with short-distance ambulation within the facility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
