Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant II at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Full-time, day shift, 36 hours per week. Sign-on bonus offered for eligible CNA candidates with $2,000 for 0-1 year experience or $4,000 for 1+ year experience.

Licensed CNAs with current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date are required. Benefits and prorated bonuses apply for part-time hires where eligible.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: CNA license required; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of relevant CNA experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
