Job summary

Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is seeking a compassionate CNA-I (formerly GNA) to join our long-term care and skilled nursing family. You will provide direct resident care under supervision of a licensed nurse, assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and meals, while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

• Active CNA-I certification in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Assist with toileting, continence care, and linen changes.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and mental condition.
• Measure and record vital signs as instructed.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, activities, and appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Shift Availability:

We offer full time and part time Day (7a a3#x2013;3p), Evening (3p a3#x2013;11p), and Night (11p a3#x2013;7a) shifts. Available schedules may vary based on current facility needs.

Pay Rate: $19.00 4b; $23.00/hour (plus shift differentials as applicable)

Requirements:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant I(CNA-I) certification (formerly GNA) in good standing
• Previous experience in long-term care or senior living preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical job duties
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
