Essential Duties

• Provide daily hygiene and personal care to residents (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other ADLs as appropriate).
• Learn residents’ preferences and routines to personalize the care you deliver.
• Document care accurately and report concerns or discrepancies promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Know and properly apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
• Communicate regularly with your immediate supervisor regarding resident status and condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Position requires medium‑heavy physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or more than 45 pounds of force repeatedly.
• Stands and walks constantly during working hours with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height and fine motor control.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members and visitors frequently.
