Job summary

Hospice of Alabama is seeking a dedicated Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, delivering hands-on care with dignity at the end of life in Madison County. You will work closely with our nursing staff to support patients in their homes, ensuring physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect.

Responsibilities include providing personalized care, assisting with activities of daily living, and accurately documenting care and observations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting; hospice exp a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care.
• Assist with personal care needs and daily living activities.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Support families with guidance and care for terminally ill loved ones.
