Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services, Jacksonville is seeking caregivers to support clients in their homes across Clay, Duval, and St. Johns counties.

The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship to help maintain independence and dignity. Requirements include an active CNA license or home health aide certificate (or 1 year of caregiving), CPR, TB test, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license or home health aide certificate or at least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CPR certification.
• Negative TB test within the past year.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support daily routines while preserving dignity and respect.
• Prepare light meals and help with household tasks.
• Provide companionship and attentive care.
• Keep clients, families, and the care team informed.

• Pay: $16-$19 per hour depending on client care needs.

What You'll Need

• Active CNA license, or a home health aide certificate from an accredited school, or at least 1 year of consistent caregiving experience
• Active CPR certification
• Negative TB test within the past year
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Comfort working independently in a client's home. You won't be on your own, though: our management team is a phone call away.
