Parx Home Care is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide personalized in-home care to clients in Florida. You will assist with daily activities, meds, vital signs, meals, and companionship, while maintaining a safe, clean home environment.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, state-approved HHA training, a valid HHA certification, and CPR. A minimum of 1 year of HHA experience and a valid driver’s license are required; background checks through Florida’s Care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
• Valid Home Health Aide certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Excellent communication and empathy with clients
• Ability to lift and move clients safely with proper body mechanics
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with daily needs (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Remind and help with medication administration.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform light household tasks to keep living space safe and clean.
• Prepare and serve meals to meet dietary requirements.

TheHome Health Aidewill have the rewarding opportunity to provide personalized care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

What you will be doing:

• Assist individuals with their daily needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Remind individuals to take their medication and offer help with administering it.
• Keep track of vital signs and promptly communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Take care of light household tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
• Engage in meaningful and compassionate conversations with clients.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides
• A valid certification as a Home Health Aide
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and their families
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR Certification

This position requires background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
