Ascension is seeking a Nurse Aide to support the Home Care team at St. Vincent PACE in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and procedures ordered by physicians under RN supervision.

You will help keep patient rooms clean, monitor safety, and report any changes in patients’ condition to the nursing staff. A Nurse Aide credential is required by hire, with BLS preferred.

Formación

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly; identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
