Job summary

BrightStar Care is hiring a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant in Bradenton, FL. The role provides direct patient care under nursing supervision, including bathing, grooming, vital signs, and assistance with daily activities, per the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state CNA certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completed a nursing assistant program.
• Current CPR certification and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one year of health care experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, recording vitals, and assisting with height/weight measurements.
• Providing care according to the patient’s plan of care, including daily tasks such as feeding, meal prep, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
