Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers for flexible in-home care shifts in Jacksonville and the surrounding Duval County area. This W-2 position offers flexible scheduling and one-on-one client care in clients' homes, not facility settings.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate is required.
• Successful Level II Background Screening.
• Recent TB screening.

• Reliable transportation to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility and transfer support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and conversation to clients.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands or appointments per care plan.
• Report changes or schedule issues to the office.

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers for flexible in-home care shifts in Jacksonville and the surrounding Duval County area.

If you want caregiver work that fits your availability, keeps you out of facility-style assignments, and allows you to build real relationships with clients, this may be a strong fit.

This is a W-2 employee position. It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position.

We are a locally owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team who are involved in the business every day. Our belief is simple: when caregivers are respected, supported, and communicated with clearly, clients receive better care.

Current Opportunities

Home care schedules vary because every client’s needs are different. Available shifts may include:

• Weekday daytime shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
• Some overnight opportunities
• Part-time and full-time opportunities
• Minimum 4-hour shifts
• Longer 8-hour and 12-hour shifts when available
• Overtime opportunities when available

We work to match caregivers with cases based on availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance.

Flexible scheduling matters, but reliability matters too. Once a caregiver accepts a shift, that client and family are counting on them.

Pay and Benefits

• Typical pay is $16 to $18 per hour for most cases
• Higher rates may be available for select assignments based on client needs, schedule, location, and case complexity

What You Will Do

You will help seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home.

This is home care, not a facility position. Care is provided one client at a time in the client’s home.
