Job summary

Right at Home UK in Okeechobee, FL offers a rewarding caregiver role dedicated to helping seniors and adults with disabilities. We provide PPE, flexible schedules, and training as you support clients in their homes and communities.

You'll be patient, honest, energetic, and communicative, capable of assisting with daily living tasks, medication reminders, and companionship. Join us to make a difference while you grow with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Must pass a full employment background check.
• Current CPR Certificate is required.
• 1 year experience as a Home Health Aide in health care and completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry and other household chores.
• Medication reminders and assistance with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

You don’t mind getting a little dirty…this could include (but not limited to) assistance with eating, personal hygiene, assistance with dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

You are able to assist the client in many ways, this could include (but are not limited to), medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, dementia care, companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
