Job summary

KARE is seeking caregivers to transform them into KARE Heroes who can support senior care communities. You will provide medication administration, supervise residents, and assist with daily living activities.

The ideal candidate must have a CNA license and the ability to lift 51 lbs, and communicate effectively in English. Benefits include real-time pay and various KARE HERO perks.

Qualifications

• Experience with memory impairment care may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication.
• Report changes in residents' condition and behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and activities.
• Assist with medication reminders and daily living activities.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health‑care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self‑administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations.
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co‑workers.

Qualifications
