Avir at Corpus Christi is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to provide direct patient care, promote independence, and support residents’ overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide basic nursing care, including vital signs monitoring, medication assistance, and wound care.
• Assist with transferring residents from one location to another, using proper transfer techniques.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Document resident care and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
• Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
