CHRISTUS Health in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support nursing staff in a fast-paced acute care unit. Under RN supervision, you will assist with routine patient care activities, admit/discharge support, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, restocking supplies, and communicating changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge. A valid CNA license and BLS certification are required; 7 AM–7 PM schedule; full-time position

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA license in state of employment required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Completes pertinent documents.
• Prepares rooms and adjusts beds.
• Transports stable patients as required.
• Maintains confidentiality and safety.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Responds to calls and supports unit operations.
