Job summary

Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, GA seeks a full-time and/or PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision.

You will help with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and report changes to supervisors; a High School diploma, Georgia CNA, and BLS are required.

Job Description

We’re seeking a full-time and/or prn CNA to join our team at Jefferson Hospital. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants are tasked with assisting in the direct daily care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants helppatients with Activities of Daily Living and are also responsible for monitoring and reporting changes incondition to their supervisor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares patient rooms prior to arrival. On patient arrival, takes patients initialvital signs including weight, any known allergies, current pharmacy, etc.
• Assists patients with care including bathing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, and
  placement of adaptive equipment.
• Assists other staff members by performing, supportive and complementary tasks
  essential to patient care.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current CNA certification in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification.
