Job summary

Ocean Meadow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated CNA for a full-time shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, with every other weekend required. The role focuses on compassionate care for residents living with memory challenges, including ADLs, documentation, and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification is required.
• Experience in an assisted living setting preferred (memory care helpful).
• Able to read and follow a Resident Care Service Plan (ADLs).
• Experience with dementia care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report health or behavior changes.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure compassionate, meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

CNA Requirements:

• Valid CNA
• Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
