Position

• Job Title: Full Time FLEX - CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Deliver age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs as per care plan.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies and PPE usage.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, vitals).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, ROM and passive exercises.
• Support meal preparation and dining to create a positive dining experience.
• Aid with meals and snacks, hydration, and supplements as appropriate.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and changes in condition; communicate with charge nurse.
• Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs; provide housekeeping and laundry support as needed.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board or state-certified CNA within four months of date into the position (training or endorsement process accepted).
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education; maintain department-specific certifications.
• State-specific requirements: UAP Registry (where applicable).
• May require Sanford Category II Driver status with driving policy compliance and medical qualification to drive.
