Sandwich Living and Rehab LLC is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care and daily living support for residents. Shifts include morning, afternoon, and overnight, with a focus on compassionate assistance and accurate documentation.

The role requires state CNA certification, CPR, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent hygiene and communication with staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• State CNA certification is required.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association) is required.
• Nursing degree or successful completion of a CNA program is required.
• Ability to think and work independently and communicate with staff in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Current certification as a CNA is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current identification.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Excellent personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and physical support to patients and residents daily.
• Answer patient calls and determine how best to help them.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
• Ensure patients receive appropriate diet.
• Record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration).
• Assess patients to detect issues requiring medical care.
• Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
• Note observations of patient behavior.
