Job summary

Nspirehc is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care in a skilled nursing setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort while following state regulations and life care standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
New hire orientation must be completed.

Responsibilities

Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
Provide medication reminders.
Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
Assist in dining, including escorting residents, serving, and cleanup.
Provide companionship and conversation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
