Owenton Healthcare and Rehab is hiring CNAs to provide compassionate care in a warm, family-oriented setting in Owenton, KY. Shifts available: 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with shift differentials and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating, taking vital signs, and communicating changes to nursing staff. Must have a current CNA certification; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred.
• Current state CNA certification required.
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record resident vital signs and assist with mobility.
• Report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.
