Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs, assist with lifting, moving, and transportation using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to the nurse management and ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to the nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
