Job summary

Optalis Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide nursing care to residents in a homelike environment. Various shifts are available, including 2-10pm and 6am-6:30pm, with Daily Pay and benefits such as 401k, health, dental and vision.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and maintaining resident safety and dignity while following facility policies and plans of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Nurse aide training and competency evaluation program approved by the State within 4 months of hire; or equivalent with no 24-month break.
• Verification from State Nurse Aide Registry for abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resident's property required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living.
• MakeOccupied and unoccupied beds and distribute nourishments.
• Maintain residents' personal and oral hygiene.
• Provide direct care per resident's plan of care to improve or maintain abilities.
• Assist with planning, implementing and evaluating care plans; document FYI records.
• Follow infection control policies and use PPE as required; follow Universal Precautions.
• Prioritize tasks and work in a high-paced environment.
• Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality and professional appearance.
