Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support nursing staff in delivering compassionate patient care. Under supervision of an RN or LPN, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure accuracy in intake and output documentation.

You will participate in performance improvement, maintain clean and orderly patient areas, and report changes promptly. High School diploma preferred, CNA license required in state of practice, and BLS certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required or preferred.
• Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
