Job summary

Avir at Comanche in Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. You will provide patient-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and help residents regain strength and independence in a warm, collaborative environment.

As a CNA, you’ll report changes to nursing staff, maintain care records, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Current Texas CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or specialized training preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents, promoting comfort, dignity, and well-being
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and standards
