Job summary

Discovery Village at Boynton Beach, part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a home-like environment. You will assist with daily routines and ensure resident safety while maintaining dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities include documenting changes in health, responding to call systems, assisting with meals and activities, and upholding infection control standards while promoting independence for residents.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with seniors preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to residents during assigned shift
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition
• Respond promptly to resident call systems, alarms, and safety alerts
• Communicate changes in care needs to supervisors
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation
• Serve meals and assist residents with dining and report appetite changes
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas
• Follow infection prevention and hygiene standards
• Promote resident independence with safety and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers)
• Encourage participation in life skills and enrichment activities
• Greet and assist residents, families, guests, vendors with professionalism
• Complete resident laundry as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
