Job summary

Sunset-Lake-Health-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient-centered team in Venice, Florida. You will interact directly with patients, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily living activities to support comfort and recovery.

The role offers flexible shifts (8/12 hours) including day, evening, and overnight, with weekend availability. We value empathy, teamwork, and attentiveness to patient dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program.
• Basic computer skills necessary to document care.
• Excellent communication with empathy and bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, turning, ambulation and providing water and nourishment.
• Assist with personal hygiene including baths, bedpans, shampoos, and showers.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record information in patient charts.
• Support nurses and other staff as needed.
• Work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely under pressure.
