Education: high school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification as required by state; current BLS. Experience: none required; 2–3 years in acute/hospital settings preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification as required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience is not required, but 2–3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care activities under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse; does not administer medications or therapies.
