Job summary

BrightStar Care of Locust Grove & McDonough is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver compassionate in-home care. The role supports clients with daily living activities in a home setting, with RN oversight and a culture focused on a higher standard.

Qualifications

• Active GA CNA license/certification and completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of one year of documented health care experience (unless in an approved Mentor Program).
• BLS/CPR certification and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care and assistance as directed (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with daily tasks (feeding, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, shopping).
• Assist with mobility per plan of care and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Completion of state-approved CNA training program

Active GA CNA License/certification
