Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Oregon is hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) for several communities, offering flexible, part-time hours and competitive pay of $21.53 per hour with Daily Pay for select positions. As an Addus CNA, you will support seniors and people with disabilities living independently, perform personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CNA.
• Two years of home care experience required.
• Background check and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Assist with personal care: hair, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Light housekeeping: changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
• Observe and report changes to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
• Check for bruises, blood in urine, or other injuries.
