Job summary

Northern Metropolitan Nursing Home in Monsey, NY is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our Skilled Nursing Facility. The base pay is $19.72 per hour with a 10% shift differential for evenings and nights, plus a $3,500 sign-on bonus for new CNAs.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS CNA certification and be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food / fluid intake.
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements.
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data.
