Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time PM shift in Batavia, Illinois. This position involves providing direct care to residents, assisting with personal care, and maintaining cleanliness in living areas.

Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant - Assisted Living Full Time PM Shift (2:30p-11p). Join Covenant Living, inspired to serve and make a difference in the lives of older adults within a faith-based community.

In This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant will:

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Perform duties in a resident care assistant role to assist with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
• Care includes bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, and related tasks.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, tidying bedside areas, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding as needed.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• High School diploma or the equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Pay Range: $19.13 - $25.43 per hour.

Reasonable Pay Estimate: A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $19.13 - $25.43 per hour. Factors include qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal/external equity considerations.
