Job summary

Lake Port Square – Senior Living Community in Florida is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our upscale life care team. Shifts include days and evenings, with every other weekend, and starting pay ranges from $17.00 per hour with generous shift differentials.

As a CNA you will assist residents with dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility, document observations, report to the team, and uphold the highest standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience preferred.
• Registration with state registry required.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate.
• Good time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethics.
• Physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, transport and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Work as a member of the team.
• Get along well with co-workers.
• Accept change in a positive manner.
