Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts (6am–6pm) at Mercer Healthcare Center in Bluefield, WV. Earn up to $20.11/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and daily pay options.

You will provide direct resident care, follow care plans, and support activities, while maintaining a clean, respectful, and safe environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Must have West Virginia CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Monitor & respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities within and outside the center.
• Ensure resident care is provided in a dignified and respectful manner.

Education
