Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Long Term Care unit at New Horizons Lanier Park in Gainesville, GA. This full-time day shift role provides direct and indirect resident care under supervision, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and a safe, clean environment for adults and geriatric residents.

The CNA will perform routine duties per care plans, take vitals, and report changes to the RN/LPN.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
• Preferred: One year of nursing assistant experience.
• Ability to follow supervision and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Makes care rounds and reports pertinent information; takes vitals and tube feeding.
• Provides personal care (bathing, grooming, mouth care) per plan of care.
• Assists with positioning, mobility, and comfort; maintains safety.
• Ensures resident equipment and supplies are accessible and properly stored.
