Job summary

Henderson Hospital in Henderson, NV, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the day shift. You will perform routine nursing tasks under the supervision of licensed staff, ensuring comfort, safety and compassionate care for diverse patient populations.

Qualified applicants hold an active Nevada CNA certificate, BLS, and are able to demonstrate patient-centered skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada State Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act and under licensed staff supervision.
