Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caregiving team. The role requires California CNA certification and BLS certification, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and weekend rotation every other week.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for adults across various units. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program and California CNA certification.
• Current AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification.
• Experience in geriatric setting or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the IDT to deliver patient/resident care under a licensed nurse.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare rooms and set up supplies for new admissions.
• Greet patients and orient them to the facility.
• Maintain inventory of patient belongings and equipment.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
