Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform basic nursing tasks within their hospital setting. The CNA will practice medical asepsis, respect patient dignity, and work under the close supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Shifts are 8 hours with Day/PM options; weekends and holidays are not required. The position is supported by UnityPoint Health’s Total Rewards program which includes benefits like PTO, 401K matching, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• CPR certification or eligibility preferred.
• Available for first-week orientation from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing assistant procedures as trained and certified.
• Maintain medical asepsis and patient privacy throughout care.
• Work under supervision of the Registered Nurse and follow written/oral assignments.
