Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or gerontology preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion in our care environment.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education and training programs.
• Demonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care and respect for each resident's unique needs and preferences.
