Job summary

Manchester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Manchester, CT is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for full-time and part-time shifts. CNAs provide daily nursing care and personal assistance under the direction of licensed staff and according to each resident's care plan.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut CNA certification in good standing required.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow care plans and nursing instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position.
• Long‑term care or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Professional references demonstrating reliability and quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and other assigned information.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and comfort.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Work cooperatively with nurses, CNAs, rehabilitation staff, and other departments.
