Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities. We offer full-time and part-time day shifts with competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, provide companionship, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, respectful environment. Iowa CNA certification or activation is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or have ability to activate it.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor health including routine vital checks.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
