Job summary

Lifespace Communities, Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide to provide compassionate direct care to our geriatric residents. This on-site role supports daily living activities, follows care plans, and collaborates with the nursing team to monitor vitals and ADLs.

Starting pay is based on experience with a pay range of $18.68–$25.63 per hour. A CNA license is required by state regulations, with opportunities to grow within our mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plan directives and administer direct patient care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring).
• Initiate resident needs assessment and report changes to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team to record vital signs and maintain ADL records.
• Provide a clean, safe environment and follow infection control standards.
• Promptly answer call lights and assess residents' needs to ensure needs are met.
