Job summary

Crestview Manor Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing and personal care. PRN positions are available; daily pay option offers access to earnings before a scheduled payday.

Responsibilities include assisting residents per care plans, supporting activities, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment while documenting care and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible and must pass state test within 120 days.
• Understanding of resident care procedures and standards.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff, residents, families and the public.
• Compassionate and enthusiastic personality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt nursing practices.
• Ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in receiving resident reports at shift start and end.
• Provide personal/nursing care per resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities for residents.
• Respond to resident requests in a dignified, respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant environment for residents.
• Prepare residents for activities inside and outside the center.
• Ensure care is provided with dignity and respect.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Maintain documentation for activities of daily living and restorative programs.
• Follow center, department and corporate policies and safety standards.
