New Madrid Living Center in New Madrid, Missouri seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dedicated team, delivering compassionate daily resident care and collaborating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health, documenting intake, and maintaining safety and sanitary standards while upholding facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and ensuring adequate fluids and nourishment.
• Help Residents with personal hygiene.
• Observe Residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Document Resident food and fluid intake.
• Assist Residents with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep living areas clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and facility policies and procedures.
• Abide by federal, state and local requirements and standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Residents and facility data.
