Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of RNs and LPNs in adult and geriatric care settings. You will support daily living activities, maintain a safe, clean environment, and help ensure patient comfort as part of a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include vitals, personal care, mobility assistance, and reporting changes in patient condition to the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia CNA licensure is required.
• Basic nursing assistant tasks are performed per patient care plan.
• Ability to follow supervisory guidelines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Makes care rounds and reports pertinent information to supervisors.
• Takes vitals and tube feeding as assigned.
• Provides personal care (bathing, nail care, mouth care) per care plan.
• Assists with mobility, positioning, and safety.
• Stores equipment and supplies per policies.
• Reports complaints to charge nurse or administrator.
• Assists with laundry and light housekeeping as requested.
