Job summary

Avir Vista is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide non‑professional direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. You will assist in daily living activities, monitor residents, and help maintain a positive environment in a facility setting.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with meals and recreation, and reporting changes to the nurse in charge.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the State.
• Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other associates.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, etc.
• Assists with resident recreation programs and meals, and records food intake as needed.
• Reads and follows daily care plans; reports changes in resident condition to nurse in charge and documents care provision on resident records.
