Lutheran Senior Services in Allentown, PA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents as directed by nursing leadership.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assist with activities of daily living, meals, and ensure residents’ comfort and dignity while encouraging independence and participation in their own care. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in MO or IL; PA enrollment within 120 days.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Strong communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supportive and functional care following established procedures.
• Answer call lights and report observations to the nurse.
• Assist with personal care and maintain resident dignity.
• Observe residents to identify changing needs and report to nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assist with meals and feed residents needing full assistance.
• Build relationships with residents and their families with compassion.
• Support resident involvement in daily activities.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
