Job summary

White Sands Healthcare in Hobbs, NM is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts. You will perform resident rounds, assist with daily living activities, and follow established care plans to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license with active certification.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer nursing care.
• Verify resident identity before administering nursing care or serving meals.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within resident’s reach.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
