Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with active state certification.
• Experience assisting with ADL and resident care.
• Ability to report observations to nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Respond to call lights to ensure safety and comfort.
• Transport residents within the community using walking aids or wheelchair.
• Report significant findings to the nurse promptly.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge as needed.
• Maintain safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow infection control techniques and privacy guidelines.
• Respect residents’ privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide restorative care to prevent complications.
• Monitor hydration, nutrition, and report deviations.
• Record blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output and weights.
