Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Paducah, KY seeks a qualified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support physicians and nursing staff during procedures within your scope of practice.

You will participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes, maintain patient safety, and document care and observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care such as positioning patients, lifting and turning, applying equipment, assisting with bedpans, ambulating, pre/post-operative care and documenting vital signs.
• Assist in preparing units, rooms, supplies and beds for admissions, transfers, emergencies or discharges.
• Obtain admission height, weight and vital signs.
• Provide living skills such as bed baths, oral hygiene, grooming and changing linens.
• Prepare meals, serve and remove trays, and assist with eating; document diet consumption.
