Job summary

Valley Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our clinical team and deliver high-quality, hands-on patient care across populations.

Role is part-time, on-site in Los Angeles with hourly pay between $25.00 and $26.41. AHA BLS, LA City Fire Card within 30 days, MOAB training within 30 days, and 1 year acute care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• LA City Fire Card certification within 30 days of employment.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MOAB) training within 30 days of employment.
• One year of acute patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and transportation
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other delegated tasks
• Report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment
• Keep call lights within reach and pathways clear for patient safety
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
• Provide emotional support and culturally sensitive care
• Assist with specimen transport as needed
• Participate in quality initiatives such as hourly rounding and turning programs
